Best Winter Hikes in Mallorca: Scenic Trails & Coastal Views
February 15, 2025

As we experience the middle of Mallorca’s winter, our island unveils a serene charm that leads to exploration and relaxation. Today, we would like to share our favourite excursions, where you can take advantage of the empty villages to take a break after arriving at your destination.

La Trapa (San Telm)

This medium-difficulty hike takes you from Sant Elm to La Trapa viewpoint, offering stunning views of La Dragonera. During this time of year, Sant Elm provides a tranquil atmosphere, with its quiet streets, local artisan shops, and a deserted beach—a perfect spot to unwind and recharge.

Camí de S’Escolta

More than an excursion, this is a slow, flat walk through four viewpoints that allow us to see various angles of the port of Valldemossa, suitable for families with children. You can walk from Valldemossa or park just after the petrol station on the road to Deia. Some of the viewpoints have space to sit and admire the scenery. Choose between a snack with views or go for a traditional “coca de patata” back in the village.

Faro de Cap Andritxol

An easy hike from Cala Fornells with parking right at the beginning takes you to the “Torre del Cap Andritxol”, a historic watchtower with stunning sea views of Mallorca’s west coast. The trail winds through a pine forest with the chance to stop by the hidden Caló d’en Monjo. At the top, enjoy the panoramic scenery before heading back the same way. Perfect for the whole family.

After a day of exploring Mallorca’s stunning winter trails, unwind in one of our exclusive properties, perfectly set across the island’s diverse landscapes—by the sea, in the countryside, or high in the mountains. No matter your adventure, the perfect retreat awaits.
